Hello, This is a new one for me. I have a few assembly models that when I drag and drop a component into it, and use constraints to position the part, it goes to where I want, but the constraints seem to just go away, and do not show up in the assembly navigator. Any ideas? Is this perhaps a toggle that I inadvertently selected?

I suspect that you might be using the 'Move Component' function. When you do there's an option to use 'Constraints' when controlling the 'Motion' of the Component which has all the same options as does the 'Assembly Constraints' function except that once positioned, the constraints are never actually added to the Assembly, they are simply used to help position the Component and nothing more.

Or it could simply be that you've somehow toggled OFF the 'Associative' option in the 'Settings' section of the 'Assembly Constraints' dialog.

Thanks John, The associative toggle was turned off.
