New Parent Assembly............... 2

Hi,
What is the practical advantage of using the New Parent Assembly tool? It creates a new assembly, but for what reason?
When should it be used?...............

I don't think that I've ever used this particular command, but it seems like it is just a way to create a new assembly with a few less clicks. It could be useful if you use the master model drawing technique (the drawing is a separate file with the model as its only component).

if you have created a part with multiple solid bodies, you can use the "create component" and export selected objects into new component files.
The current part file becomes an assembly.
The create new parent is the opposite direction.
Early phases of product development when the product structure is not yet fixed, both are convenient.
