We have an application that requires easy threading of a 4"
1/2 13 bolt into a 4" long coupling nut.
My problem is that every time I read the GH specs I find on the web, I can't tell which way the extra .0005" goes and/or whether it's a tap or die that is being discussed.
We're looking for a tap that makes a slightly bigger diameter thread hole that loosens up the tolerances on the bolt/nut mating. Can someone say which GH tap to go with ?
