Hi QC experts,
I have a vendor, the nominal dished head thickness is 14 mm, after forming 7 mm, the stress calculation thickness required is 6 mm. It is ok in deign/stress calculation. But I don't believe it is a good/qualified product with reduced a half of the nominal thickness after forming, some where thickness reduced from 14 mm to 7 mm. Any regulations from code, user's specifications and fabrication experience for qualifying the forming head thickness reduction?
Thanks
