JOINING OF CR STRIP

What is the best process to fuse or join CR strip of 0.1mm thich to maintain continuity on CR mill?Its a SS grade od 304,308 .

Autogenous butt welds are the common way of doing this.

its ok that autogenous welding will work here but will be source of haet i.e. welding process.Plz help me

For this strip thickness, probably the gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) process is the way to go – with no filler metal, as mentioned by edstainless. Here is some background information on this subject;

Thats ok but the thing can you have some practical data about this application wrt to excat process because only TIG wont do either TIG with mocro plasma or some laser will do this job.
