Was wondering if there is a recommended storm type for use in Kern County, Bakersfield area? The Kern County Hydrology Manual, at least that I can see, does a pretty location specific approach, just trying to find a close match in the storm type HydroCAD database for would be appropriate.
Thanks for any thoughts.

If your Hydrology manual recommends a specific rainfall distribution, just select that storm in HydroCAD. HydroCAD includes the new CA-1 to CA-6 rainfall distributions from NRCS plus a hundred other storms. Or you could download point-specific PFD data from NOAA and use HydroCAD to generate a synthetic rainfall distribution. It all depends on your regulations.
