Workbench Mechanical, deactivate/activate springs during analysis

Is it possible to deactivate and activate spring elements in Workbench Mechanical?
For example, deactivate at t=2s and activate at t=4? I have seen examples of this for contact
elements where both contact and targets elements are deactivated using ekill command but
how does it work for springs?
