People at certain locations at my company are unable to see the graphics in the UG window when the screen is shared using Microsoft Net Meeting. For others it works fine. Does anyone know why this is and how to fix it?

Thanks

Are you sharing just the whole desktop or only the application. If you're sharing only the application, it may be seeing the graphics window as a secondary screen. I've had the same problem when running NX on a single screen over the web and I open the Modeling spreadsheet or a listing window, as it does not see the new window as part of the base application window. Try sharing the desktop instead and see if that helps.

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

We usually share the entire desktop not just the application.

Sorry, NetMeeting does not correctly display applications that are using OpenGL graphics. You'll usually see just the window border but no contents.

You need to use WebEx, GoToMeeting, or HP Remote Graphics.

We use the Application Sharing (AppShare) utility in TeamCenter (of course) and it works great with NX (as you can imagine).
