Hi guys:
I found in a form I've got to fill in, the following word (phrase): WETTED ELASTOMER. refering to a material description of a PSV.

If among you there is a Spanish language guy, I would like to ask what the translation would be:

ELASTÓMERO MOJADO?, HÚMEDO?, BLANDO?

Is in this case WETTED used as sinonymous of SOFT? Or does it means it is in contact with the wet -process- side of the PSV?

Sorry for this "out of matter question" and thank you.

Technical Spanish also depends upon the client country. Is this for Argentina; or some other Spanish speaking country?

I don't think that this is one of those terms that translates word for word. Have you thought about contacting a vendor?

JSSeaagull:
This is for Argentina
Ggordil:
I agree. I haven't asked any one but you yet.

Somewhere at home I have a CD with a spreadsheet that I compiled of technical phrases translated for Mexico. However I understand that the same terms were very different in Colombia. I am sending an email home reminding me to see if I can find it. However your technicians and engineers in country would be your best source.
