Any of you familiar with the TIA might help me in verifying something...
Looking at wind loads on appurtenances and the gust effect factor.
REV-H of the standard has the factor for structures laid out in section 2.6.7. Paragraph 3 of 2.6.9 then states that the gust effect factor for design of appurtenances and their connections shall be 1.0.
It appears that this direction to use 1.0 for appurtenances was removed in REV-G and you are reverted back to the structure type...which makes sense.
Can anyone confirm the above? Or was something shuffled around in the latest code and I'm missing it elsewhere?
