@Aesur Yeah never met him in person, just read his book and watched his presentations. I wish he would simplify things so I can get into the correct approach later, because the diaphragm stuff is basically rocket science to me. Good to know that he thinks about it.

I decided to hop on the webinar too. I don't do any residential/wood design work, but I can't imagine it'll hurt to learn a thing or two. Lateral design should translate somewhat to other materials, right?
