360 Camera for Surveys?

Hello All,

I had a thought whilst on a recent site visit that a 360 camera on a pole might be a useful alternative to going up a ladder with a camera. I’ve seen them used to generate fly throughs (matterport or procore etc) but not specifically for surveys.

Does anyone use one? And do you find it useful?

Great when access is limited or unsafe. Also fun to drive around a building or property with the camera mounted to the roof rack.
