Does anyone know or use temperature indicating paint for the equipment where temperature limits are important?

Do you know any suppliers?

We use thermal indicating paints around a Hydrogen Plant , Thermal Reduction Unit, and a couple of heat recovery units. There use is mainly to detect high temperature monolithic insulation failure before we see a stinger.

We use the Dampney indicating paint as well as some of their high temperature paints. The products from Thermal are in use also, but I have no feedback on their use other than they still look good.

Thank you for your reply. We use these paints for the WHB of our hydrogen reformer furnace and for the main and auxilary furnaces of our sulphur recovery unit.

I will go through the websites you posted. Thanks again
