Subsea Pipeline & Riser Wall Thickness Calc. ASME 31.8 VIII

To calculate Pipeline & Riser wall thickness as per ASME 31.8 VIII, I understand the effect of under-thickness tolerance due to manufacturing and corrosion/erosion shall be considered as follows:

Pipeline WT: corrosion/erosion under-thickness effect to be considered (ref. 804.222), but under-thickness tolerance due to manufacturing should not be considered.

Riser WT: both manufacturing and corrosion/erosion under-thickness to be considered (ref. table A842.22)

Is my above interpretation correct?, any comment is appreciated.
