When the model is shaded, UG hides datum planes, curves, and sketches behind (or inside) the model. Is there a way to make these objects show regardless so I don't have to toggle to wireframe so much.

I notice that Datum Axis show through shaded models so I thought there might be a setting somewhere.

thanks

I am not aware of a setting for this. You could change the translucency of your solids. Most of my modeling is done with translucent bodies, and it can be very helpfull.

Yeah, I currently do that some now but unless you make your parts very transparent, the sketches are still hard to see and they don't hightlight.

Anyone see a benefit to hiding stuff behind shaded models? Guess I'm just used to the way Solidworks handles it.
