S355NL welding permission 2

Hi guys,

I have an issue of welding S355NL material as per AWS D1.1 code. Please help me clear it.
I have wps qualified for any group I to any group II. So can I use this wps for welding S355NL?

No you cannot use.
The material you have listed is not recognised by AWS D.1.1 so must be qualified separately.

The Owner's representative, i.e., the Engineer, can allow a material substitution or exemption for a specific applications. As my friend DekDee says, it is not considered prequalified per AWS D1.1, so it would have to be qualified in accordance with Clause 4 of AWS D1.1.
