Our refinery has been running for three years.
In our refinery,we separate the slop oil into two tank, one for heavy slop oil, and the other for light slop oil.
Until now, we do not further process the slop oil but just inject the slop oil into crude oil tank for feeding to CDU.
Now we sometime encounter CDU pump strainer plugging and ARDS inlet filter plugging.
Is it necessary to further process the slop oil before it entering crude tank?
We have a Delayed Coker unit in the refinery. The slop oil from this unit usually is very heavy and containing small coke fines. Is it necessary to process this stream independently?
