Hello Everyone

I confused and have some questions:
• why Mirror assembly is not associative in positioning mirrored components after creation?
• Why it has not an icon in assembly navigator?
• why it cannot be edited like other commands?
• why it cannot be directly delete?

Design process always is subject to change in modeling. Even after creating assembly. But with current mirror assembly every change makes new issue for mirrored components created using mirror wizard.

I attached files. When I reduce the count of pattern, it will remain additional components
When I remove them and I increase pattern count it would not update them.
When I the width of yellow part, mirrored component will not reposition.

Is any solution?

The Mirror Assembly Wizard is a rather old function from an era when there was not as much associativity as is the norm today. The 'wizard' itself was developed to assist users in placing selected components in a mirrored position as well as create mirrored copies of components if that was so desired. There never has been any sort of 'mirror' constraint when placing Assembly Components (remember, the Mirror Wizard was introduced well before the introduction of Assembly Constraints, when UG/NX was still using Mating Conditions).

Now if you would like to see more associativity and better feedback, please contact GTAC and have them open an ER(s) (Enhancement Request) to that effect.

thanks john
great information.

so this wizard will be used in the last design stage if needed.
