Hi friends
Please I need someone tell me how I can model crak on shaft using element type BEAM189 in Ansys. I have tried to use custom section by creating circular cross section with crack in 2-D and aftere using command write sect to file. there is a wrong menu saying this elment type is not correct. please if anybody has an answer to slove this issue I will be gratefull to him to help me.
