Hi everyone,

I'm having an error in NX 9.0 when I try to do an extrude which says "Modeler error: bulletin board not active". Any clue what this is about and how to fix it?

When the error messages make no sense, it is a good time to call GTAC...

I have a similar issue with NX 10.0.2. When I try to insert a primitive (block, cylinder,...) into a new file I get the "Modeler error: bulletin board not active" message. If I create any non-primitive solid or a surface first, all is well. I can even delete the original solid/surface and the primitive will work.

Now the bad news: GTAC's response was that a corrupt registry entry is causing the error, but they don't know which one. I tried uninstalling, deleting all registry references to NX 10.0, and reinstalling with no luck. If anyone has a solution, other than not using primitives, I'd be forever grateful.

Start a new NX session, replicate the error, then post the log file from that session. Remove the license info near the start of the license, but try to leave the rest in there. I'd like to read the log and get an idea of what's going on.
No guarantees that I know the answer but who knows.

NX3 to NX10 with almost every MR (21versions)

I get the same error while trying to create a section using PMI.
Was there a fix or solution to this?

Shetty,
Using NX 10.0.1.4
