Hi,

Wish to kown the difference btw ANSI weld neck flange and an ASME flange. Can anybody help? A lot of thanks!

Kander,

Like the others say, there is a 22" Class 300 flange. But it's not covered by AMSE B16.5 (or even ANSI before the designation change)

This flange is covered by standard MSS-SP-44.

It's a common mistake that people think all flanges up to 24" are per B16.5. The 22" size isn't as you have found out.

I hope this helps.
