Inserted jpeg files disappear when file is closed/reopened

Running SW2006, SP4.1
When I insert a jpeg file onto a drawing sheet the following happens. First, when I try to click on inserted file to reposition on drawing sheet, I get an error box "not enough storage is available to complete this operation", I am able to reposition and resize the inserted file on the sheet by dragging the corner boxes of the inserted file. The problem is after closing and reopening drawing the jpeg file is not there, Also tried to as a bmp.

Inserted dwg file, xcell file and powerpoint file all work OK, just having difficulty with jpeg.

Any thoughts?

How are you doing on your RAM while performing this task? Are you using most of your RAM up (see Windows Task Manager).

Not enough storage is available to complete this operation

-This probably means you do not have enough RAM. How much do you have?
-Also, it could mean that the Jpeg is too big. What size is your jpeg?

JPEG size was real big, I did resize it down and worked fine. Thanks
