Can anyone share their experience with Pro/E Wildfire 3.0 Personal Edition for learning WF? I see the package offers a basic tutorial, so I am guessing additional manuals or courses would be needed for advanced modeling.

There is a lot of info on the web. The key thing I find about any of the personal editions is that you are more prone to try different ways of doing the same thing, you experiment a little more.

One, you might be using it at home where you can relax a little more. Two, there isn't that worry of screwing something up.. say changing some config options etc.
Three, they throw in all the bells and whistles of most of the other modules.

Go for it :-)... hold off buying the additional things till you just hit that wall..

I have Pro/E 2001 & Mechanica PE and it came with *.pdf tutorials. I would not waste your money on any books there are a lot of online resources that are free. Here are a couple of links that will help you.
