How to pick multiple surfaces to delete in IDD?
I recall older versions being able to marquee pick.

OK, got some way in this using surface and seed for quilts [oddly there isn't a quilt filter) but unconnected surfaces still need to be picked one-by-one, a real pain as there are hundreds of tiny shreds.

Does anyone use IDD to clean up imported surfaces?

I do.

I found it very sh*ty and horrible facing it first time,
but more time I invested to understand the funcionality behind, more I
admire it.

Still, lot of job of cleaning I do outside IDD, in Part Modeling mode.

Hence, with Creo 1.0 and Creo 2.0 extended with Flexible modeling tab these kind of tasks turn to be less complicated.

in the model tree you can select surfaces there.

When i use the command search in IDD, it shows there are a couple of icons for box selection, but ironically they are all disabled

Edit: just found out box selection is enabled only when u select "surface" or "edge" in selection filter. works with non conected surfaces as well. Creo 2.0

Just came in to complain about the lack of marquee selection when picking surfaces within IDD too.
