I read that it is not possible to directly model magnetic interactions in Abaqus and came across this formula (as attached) but not sure if it is correct. Therefore, how can I model force between two cylindrical magnets? Thanks in advance.

Do you wish to conduct an electromagnetic analysis or simply apply an abstract force (given by that equation in the attachment) between two parts? In other words, what are you trying to accomplish? What are the goals of the modeling exercise?

Hi IceBreakerSours, I just want to apply a magnetic force which varies with distance and to be able to change the input distance such that the force will varies accordingly..
