Hi all, I am a beginner in ABAQUS and am trying to replicate a numerical model from a research paper. The paper has reinforcement stir-ups inside concrete material, and 2-node beam element was used to model the stir-up. I had no idea what does that mean. Can anyone help?

Here is the link to the paper: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0950061818327326#s0080

The part I am talking in later part in section 4 of the paper. Thanks!

2-node beam element is a linear beam element. Check the documentation chapter Elements --> Structural Elements --> Beam Elements --> Beam Element Library for a list of available beam elements.
