Hello,

can anyone explain me the difference between a wet-pit sump pump and a submersible sump pump. I have seen this difference established in an UFGS specs document but dont understand their difference.

Thank you!

I see,
so basically in the submersible the motor/pump are together in a housing and the whole thing goes inside the sump whereas in the wet-pit type motor and pump are separated. I would assume wet-pit tend to be used for higher capacities.

Thank you!
