Hi all,

I am looking for detailed design examples for connections with Eccentric loading, particularly Bolts with "Eccentricity Normal to the Plane of the Faying Surface", the "Elastic Method" and "Instantaneous Center of Rotation Method" as covered by AISC Steel Construction Manual Part 7. I have been scouring the web and found different things but nothing of real value. Can anyone recommend a book, website or document that can satisfy my craving to understand this stuff properly and completely?

I'd recommend the same references that I referred you to in your previous thread: Link.

I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.

Thanks for the reminder, I'd forgotten about that thread... Ill dig into those resources today..
