We have to investigate the structural effect of exploding transformer parts and burning oil that may be thrown against a concrete wall. Anybody knows of any criteria out there for say, representative weights of exploding parts, velocity, etc?

Thanks!

I believe you'll find something of interest with the requirements from the Nuclear Regulatory Comission (NRC) and the piping industry.

I have seen numerous papers presented on the subject of pipes impacting concrete slabs. Don't just think of loose pipes falling - think of pipes under pressure impacting.
