In the calculation of Flange what is the different between Bore Corrosion and Flange Corrosion?

Bore corrosion allowance is subtracted from the thickness of the hub. Flange corrosion allowance is subtracted from the thickness of the "flange" (where the bolts go through).

For example, Appendix 2 provides formulas for calculated stress in the flange based on flange thickness "t". COMPRESS determines "t" as the nominal (specified) thickness of the flange minus the flange corrosion allowance.

Thank you for early reply.

I must to know whether the corrosion allowance is applicable for flange thikness where gasket seat in case of confined joint.

Thank you

Corrosion allowance is not applicable on flange thickness.
