Inquiry on Flange Neck Thickness Adjustment During Hydrotest

I have concerns regarding the estimation of nozzle and flange thickness under hydrotest conditions. A 30" flange with a Sch. 10S (7.92 mm) wall thickness was flagged because the nozzle assembly failed under hydrostatic test stresses. To mitigate this issue, I increased the nozzle neck thickness to 10 mm; however, I remain concerned about the integrity of the flange. According to the standards, only Sch. 5S and 10S (7.92 mm) are available for a 30" stainless steel flange. I would like to confirm whether the flange-to-pipe junction, as well as the straight section of the flange with a thickness of 7.92 mm, can safely withstand both hydrotest and internal pressure conditions.
