Buckling of an arch

In a reinforced concrete arch we denote by F its rise (the height of crown over the springing line) and by L its span.
Then, the ratio F/L indicates the "flatness" of the arch.
I'd like to receive some information on the limiting value of F/L for which the buckling of the arch may occur predominantly according to a "snap-through" buckling mode.

Sorry I don't heave a formula, but you ought to look in Timoshenko's "Theory of elastic stability." Snap-through buckling is treated in a really neat manner (in fact, I had given a seminar on this, but I don't have my notes/ Tiom's book right now).
