When using arrangements I pre-define/create the arrangements before adding the components. I don't believe it's possible right now, but I've often wished that when adding assembly constraints there was an option to have them automatically made arrangement specific with the shared state being suppressed, and/or the suppression state of the component automatically being suppressed in the other arrangements when adding the component.

Now I didn't see anything in customer defaults or the menus that would help, and it can be tedious in files with a large number of arrangements. Does anyone have any tips they'd like to share, and does anyone else feel these would be good options?

I don't think that would be a an option I would like to have.
In most cases, each component will have constraints which will be shared in other arrangements.
This would mean, if I had 3 arrangements, and the constraint will only be applied to the active arrangement,I would have have to set the state for the others as well (2x extra).

Hi nutace, thanks for the reply. Your requirements are exactly why I said option. There are other situations where the same component can be in several different locations depending on the arrangement, and a checkbox in the assembly constraints menu to toggle the option can save time.

Currently the assembly constraints are added, then made arrangement specific one at a time. Not difficult, just time consuming.
