ASME B31.8 Impact Tested Thickness range for WPS

Construction Code - ASME B31.8
Material - API 5L X52 and API 5L X60
MDMT - Minus 20 F
Wall thickness - 3/8"
While preparing WPS, is there any thickness limitation for the base metals as it is for B31.3 (t/2 to t+1/4"). I didn't see it though in the code or is the Sec IX the governing code?

B31.8 requires WPS qualification to either ASME IX or API 1104.
