In the Figure 323.2.2-2 (Reduction in Lowest Exemption Temperature for Steels Without Impact Testing) of ASME B31.3, the different stress ratios and corresponding temperature reduction are showned. Does anybody knows how was the figure obtained, according to some tests or other method? I can't find the details from any interpretation. Thanks.
