AODD Pump for Low NPSHa Application

Hi Guys,
I need your opinion. Is AODD Pumps "With Inlet stabilizer placed next to the pump Inlet" suitable for Low NPSHa (typ 0.5m)? had you come across this before?

A lot of questions about a very simple and cheap pump.

No, I'm sure the AODD pump is not suitable for a NPSHa of 0.5 m. To be honest I'm not aware of any pump which is suitable for this. As NPSHr should be 1 m less than NPSHa, NPSHr must be negative. I do not even believe in the NPSHa of 0.5 m although I do not know the specific details of your project. But in 90 % of all customer specifications I saw the NPSH value was incorrect. Not many people understand NPSH. Most of them mix up suction head with NPSH or they deduct a suction head from 10 m.
