hi,
Currently, I am designing a reservoir for seal plan 52. The instruments to be used are a level transmitter and a pressure transmitter. My question is, how to determine the high/low alarm set points for both instruments?

Thanks and regards

I don't know if any industry standards dictate any specific procedures, but in the absence of any standards, you need to intelligently convert your customer specifications into appropriate limits. Some factors to consider would be: response time of transducers, risk to safety and health of people, equipment/material damage cost risk, loss of performance risk, cost of downtime. If you share some application details, then possibly some more specific guidance could be provided.

They should have a 4-20mA output or 0-10v output which you will be able read using a compatible PCB.
