Does anyone have any knowledge of or experience with software programs for writing and storing weld procedures for ASME and or AWS Codes?

RE: Welding Software

Have both knowledge and experience on welding softwares for both AWS and ASME. Extensively worked with Welding Prowrite by CSpec/Computer Engg. Also at the time I was researching softwares, compared with Weldspec and some Norwegian software, my memory fails me again....forgot the name of the software! What are your queries though???

Thanks and regards

RE: Welding Software

I have a page that lists a feww links to welding related software at http://www.weldinginspectionsvcs.com/otherPeoplesWeldingSoftware.htm

I prefer the C-Spec software. It covers both codes and has a great deal of information in it.

I also have some programs using MS-Access for WPS,WPQ storage that can be downloaded from my site . See http://www.weldinginspectionsvcs.com/welding_and_qc_software.htm

The demos require you have MSAccess 2000 or later.

Have a nice day
