Galvanized coil color coating applicator roll wear

Galvanized coil color coating applicator roll wear

(OP)
Our continuous color coating line produces coated strip of different widths (912 to 1200 mm). When we run lower width, the applicator roll surface wears/scratches at the both edge of the strip. Then when we run higher width strip the wears causing an unwanted line mark on the coating surface.
Currently we have to replace the applicator rolls almost every time before running the higher width strip, which causes hours of line stoppage. We have 7 such rolls in the line.
The rolls are made of polyurethane, imported from china. Hardness is 60-67
I want to know if there is any high quality abrasive/wear resistance roll which will perform better in this case?
How can we ensure roll quality? Is there any method other than the hardness testing?
