Replacement for Vicor PRM? Replacement for Vicor PRM? avalovesart (Military) (OP) 9 May 17 18:50 We got an email stating the Vicor will not longer be producing several of their PRM products. Anyone know if Vicor is planning a replacement or a good alternative that still meets military standards? Part numbers: P036F048T12AL, P036T048T12AL, P024F048T12AL, P024T048T12AL, MP028F036M12AL, MP028T036M12AL, and a few others. Any help appreciated. RE: Replacement for Vicor PRM? MacGyverS2000 (Electrical) 9 May 17 19:47 Seems to me Vicor would be in the best position to answer whether or not they have an alternative... So you estimate how many you are going to need for the life of existing production contracts and spares and write a big check. Either that or start looking for distributor stock. I see that the PRM P024F048T12AL data sheet is marked "END OF LIFE" and "Not Recommended for New Designs"
