Hi.
I have a Lighting pole factory.Most of the poles is 70mm dia to 285mm dia.
Base material is 4mm in thickness and it is st44-Gr-2 which is a coil material.
This sheet is going to cut in a required lenth as per drawing and it will be bended by bending machine to get a octoonal shape then the welding is started.
Process is MIG Welding.
Does AWS D1.1 have any pre qualify WPS or should i Qualify by testing.
st-44-Gr-2 is equal to A36 can i use 6mm plate instead of this 4mm sheet.
