Wind on a lower part of building

Hi,

I have a real big problem for me. I searched everywhere, I think, and can't find a right solution.

I wonder how to determine the wind blowing at a lower part of a building. I have attached my model of the building. Some sources tell that the wind causes pressure on the part of the roof near the highest part of the neighboring building (red horizontal line - how long is it by the way). I can't find in the standards any external pressure coefficients. If somebody knows how to determine this value please help.

Thanks. Possibly one of our Polish members can help. But in principle, the pressure at the wall to roof intersection is essentially the same on both surfaces. As to how far out this is true, it is a very complex issue, and many standards won't give you a definitive answer, leaving the design parameters in this case to engineering judgment.

So if I understand right, my cpe on the roof will be selected on red (Cpe,D) in case when wind blow form right side?

Don't take my word for it. I am not familiar with your code. I was only suggesting that, in the immediate vicinity of the roof to wall intersection, the pressures are the same on both surfaces.
