I there, I'm currently searching of the best way to make a rectangular bac that will have to hold water. It will be about 15x6x8 cm. It's upper face will be assembled in two pieces.

See the following image:
*note: corner will be rounded

I'm searching for the best type of mold I should use, I want to create about 20 units with the molds.

I'm currently examining 2 methods:

1- Vacuum forming with a wooden mold using acrylic.
2- Rapid prototyping + varnish to hold the water

Money is limited but I have access to rapid prototyping equipement but will still pay some money to use it.

Is there some other methods I should consider ? And what would your recommendations be ?

Dear BeerB.
I tried to click on your link but it said page not found so I could not view your file.
But if corner radii would be acceptable, vacuum forming would be your most cost effective method. What material thickness are you looking for? Another option would be urethane casting.
