There was an exotic car made in the '70's that used a bare stainless steel as the body panels. It was called a Bricklin, and was only made for a few years. Does anyone know what type of stainless was used to skin it with?

The body panels on the Bricklin were made of fiberglass, not stainless steel. Check out the enthusiasts website at

I guess it was the DeLorean that was stainless. Oh well, what was the DeLorean body made of?

Yep, it was the DeLorean (haven't you seen Back to the Future?[wink]), and I think the skin was made from brushed 304 or 304L stainless.
