What other inputs do I need to perform a random vibration analysis for a G_rms calculation?

My first project that went beyond a simple modal analysis. Completed a modal analysis on the part. The modal solution feed into a random vibration analysis. I was only given a maximum G_rms the part can observe. Is that supposed to be sufficient information? Or should a G_rms requirement always be accompanied by a PSD boundary condition?

Having trouble finding any good reads on the topic.
