Hello,

Is there a way to create a feature (in this case a set of holes using Hole Wizard) that is done at the "assembled" level of a weldment. My example is that I've got two "legs" on one side of my design that are wide flanges and show up as one item in the cut list. I want to drill a few holes in one of the legs but keep it as a common item to the other one. I know I could create an assembly and do the hole feature there but that wouldn't work with the drawing I'm creating. These two legs are one item before the hole feature and I just need a way to combine them again even though one of them has holes in it.

Thanks in advance

By default, your weldment will have a "as welded" and "as machined" configuration. Suppress your holes in the "as welded" configuration, leave them unsupressed in the "as machined" configuration. The cut-list should be using the "as welded" configuration by default.
