Hi guys,

I need a help interpreting this ISO 2553 symbol. Please take a look at the image attached. My issue is with the dashed circle above the fillet weld. The dashed circle stands with concave ending. Could someone please explain the meaning?

Thank you.

Never seen that symbol before. Perhaps an all around fillet stitch weld (the dashes reflect the stitch-like pattern)?

Just a guess.

I have no idea, but it wouldn't be the first time I encountered a Kalvin Kline welding symbol. If at first you see exactly what you want in the standard, make one up.

Best regards - Al
