We are building sound insulated panels from commercial quality 16 ga G90 galvanized sheet steel formed into panels. The design requires a spine beam made continuous with the panel skin. Our preferred method is pop riveting. Does anyone know a rivet system that is:
- weather and leak tight on a flat roof for up to 30 years exposure for any continental U.S. location. Severe industrial exposures would be painted (zinc rich base, epoxy fill, urethane top coat).
- compatable with galvanized sheet steel.
- resistant to panel flexure and vibration with reliable shear strength.
