Does anyone have any details on a 'fibre washout machine' for testing SFRC? I have heard rumours of a device available for sale, but I cannot find any details.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What are you wanting to do? Determine the fiber content? Determine the fiber distribution? Determine physical properties of the concrete?

Wash the fiber out of wet concrete to check quantity? If so, wet sieving will suffice.

Project has an odd spec were they are imposing a 5% tolerance on the minium fibre dosage. It was my understanding that this was normally a field test with jury rigged equipment, usually based upon sieving.

Someone mentioned something about seeing a referene to a 'washout machine' and I have found a single reference to it in the magazine Concrete Construction (2007). I have tried to track down the company, but cannot find any information on them.
