Hi,

When I delete components in an assembly the constraints of these components still exists with a red cross in front of it.
Is there a setting that the constraints will be deleted together with the component?

Thanks in advance.

Another point.
Sometimes when changing things in an assy, constraints get loose. I dont know why, but more strange, in the asm-navigator nothing seems to be wrong with these constraints! But they do nothing anymore. Is this normal?

Not sure about in NX5, but in NX6, when you delete a component in an assembly, the software posts a message to the user asking if you'd like to delete the old constraints as well as the component.

Actually, that is not ALWAYS true. If you are working on an assembly in the context of yet another assembly, then the software does not ask if you'd like to delete the unused constraints. Would be nice if it did - it would be more consistent behavior.

Not sure about your second question.
